The Rutgers Center for Cognitive Science (RuCCS) announces the availability of pre-doctoral fellowships, funded through an NIH National Research Service Award program recently awarded to RuCCS. The program funds research training focussing primarily on vision and language. These fellowships are available to students enrolled in the Ph.D. program in one of the participating departments (primarily Psychology, Linguistics, Computer Science and Philosophy, though also applicable in selected programs in the School of Library and Information Science, Biomedical Engineering and other related degree-granting departments) and pursuing an interdisciplinary program of studies in Cognitive Science (leading to a Certificate in Cognitive Science). Students interested in pursuing such interdisciplinary studies should first apply for admission to the Ph.D. program in one of the participating departments, stating their interest in Cognitive Science. Information about the application process is available at the Graduate Study Page. Deadlines and required documentation may differ from department to department -- although the application forms (available through the above Web address) are the same and all applications for graduate studies in New Brunswick must be sent to: Office of Graduate and Professional Admission, Rutgers, The State University 18 Bishop Place New Brunswick, NJ 08901-8530 The following are the deadlines as supplied by the main participating departments.
