From time to time, our lab has openings for research assistants. If you have taken courses in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or Sensation and Perception, and would like to gain first-hand experience with research on visual perception, please inquire regarding current availabilities.
The RA position will help you develop skills in designing and implementing perception experiments, using graphics packages, and (depending on your interests) developing software using Matlab.
An important topic of investigation in our lab is how the brain represents shape information. If you're someone who enjoys thinking in geometrical terms, you should definitely apply.
