The Research Group on Evolution and Higher Cognition was established
to investigate the mechanisms involved in a range of higher cognitive capacities
and to explore ways in which theoretical and empirical work on the evolution
of the mind can interface productively with more traditional approaches
to theory construction in cognitive science. Current projects include:

Research into the ways in which the resources of evolutionary psychology
can be brought to bear on issues about
