On June 23, 2008, Professor Gilbert Harman(Princeton University) and Ernie Lepore(Rutgers University) will be hosting the Willard Van Orman Quine Centennial Fest. Congratulations to Alan Leslie, who was recently elected as a 2008 Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Congratulations to Mark Baker, who will receive a 2008 Rutgers Board of Trustee Award for Excellence in Research, the university's highest award for outstanding research contributions to a discipline or to society. On March 21, 2008, Drs. Gallistel and Gelman travelled to China to establish a program of research collaboration, scholarly exchange, and the exchange of students between the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and RuCCS. (Attached are photos of the signing of the MOU and of the the officers of the two institutions) Congratulations to Alan Leslie, who will be designated as a Fellow of APS in 2008. Congratulations to Lila Gleitman, who will receive an honorary doctorate from Upenn in May 2008.
