What is Cognitive Science?

Our club aims to explore the disciplines of psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, computer science, and linguistics. By understanding the disciplines separately, we will be able to synthesize them to gain a better understanding of the human brain and mind. The fields are seemingly different but only in discussing each background can we really understand how the mind works.

While Rutgers doesn't offer cognitive science as a traditional major, you can create your own program through an individualized major. It's also really easy to get involved in research because there are so many professors willing to take undergraduates into their lab. Take advantage of the research oppurtunities Rutgers has to offer and visit the RUCCs website to check out the associated faculty.
