Several philosophers have argued recently that our credences should be sensitive not just to our evidence, but to what we know about how good we are at processing evidence. This is advertised as a way of adjusting for the fact that we are fallible in many respects. I argue against such approaches, on the grounds that they lead to regresses. If we are to account for our own fallibility, it must be by some other means than by adjusting credences.
