Research Interests:

Fully automated, highly diagnostic behavioral screens for malfunctions in the cognitive mechanisms that enable animals to locate themselves in time and space and remember simple abstract quantities like rates and proportions. Genetic approaches to the neurobiological mechanism of memory. Animal cognition: spatial, temporal and numerical learning and reasoning.
