Three-dimensional (3D) stereoscopic display provides more natural and immersive visual effect which wins tremendous attention current years. This talk will provide an overview on the key technologies to implement a multi-view stereoscopic display, and report some highlights achieved by the video proceesing lab at Shanghai University, including multi-view capturing, multi-view video coding, vitual view synthesis and 3D contents production, as well as the 3D image quality assessment.

The RuCCS Colloquia Series is organized by Dr. Julien Musolino and Dr. Sara Pixley. The talks are held on Tuesdays in the Psychology Building, Room 101 on the Busch Campus from 1:00-2:30pm.
