Jim is a creative executive with experience starting, growing, and scaling SaaS startups in the areas of machine learning, cybersecurity, healthcare, and cloud computing. Currently, he is an engineering manager at DigitalOcean on a mission to simplify cloud computing so developers and businesses can spend more time creating software that changes the world. Jim's team is helping to build the managed databases product (DBaaS) as a part of the overall PaaS strategy. Previously, Jim was the CEO of NeuroLex Laboratories, a company focused on using voice as a marker for early diagnosis of psychiatric and neurological diseases. Before being acquired by Sonde, NeuroLex had key partnerships in biopharma, grew its data bank to over 500,000 voice files and expanded its core SurveyLex product to thousands of users. Jim is an alumnus of Georgia Tech where he earned a B.S. in Biomechanical Engineering.

Rebecca is passionate about technology and ethics, connecting people who can make great things happen together, building tech that empowers and improves life for all people, and bringing out the best in people and teams. She is a current Techstars Starburst 2021 Cohort member with QuSecure. Rebecca is an alumna of Stanford University where she earned a B.S. in Symbolic Systems.
