Puerto Rican Spanish (PRS) is a language that often does not mark interrogativity syntactically for yes-no questions. Thus it is not uncommon for speakers to rely on intonational cues to interrogativity. In this talk I present an overview of the intonational contours used by speakers in the yes-no question domain with evidence from production and perception.
