Young is a Genetics PhD from Duke University. She is Agtech R&D leader with deep domain expertise in quantitative and population genomics. And is currently leading Module 5, Breeding Informatics, in the Excellence in Breeding Platform of the CGIAR, where they enable breeding modernization by the incorporation of modern informatics capabilities into breeding processes.
