Dr. Elaad Applebaum is an astrophysicist-turned-data scientist. At Very, he applies machine learning methods to find creative, yet understandable solutions to address client needs, while also ensuring that the products work reliably end-to-end. Dr. Applebaum is an alumnus of Rutgers University where he earned a PhD in Physics and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he earned a BS in Physics. Elaad is also an alumnus of the Erdős Institute and a winner of the May 2020 Data Science Boot Camp!
