Dr. Feldman and Dr. Singh receive Award for Excellence in Research

It gives us great pleasure to anounce that Dr. Feldman and Dr. Singh have been jointly selected to receive a Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Research for the academic year 2013-2014. 

The award will be presented at a reception to be held at the Visitor Center on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.

Dr. Melissa Kibbe appointed as Assistant Professor

Congratulations to Dr. Melissa Kibbe, a recent RuCCS alumna, on her appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University! Melissa obtained her Ph.D in Alan Leslie's Cognitive Development Lab for her work on object cognition in infants. She held a pre-doc fellowship under the NSF IGERT Program in Perceptual Science working in Dr. Eileen Kowler's Eye Movements, Vision & Cognition Lab, and was part of our Certificate in Cognitive Science program. Melissa is currently a post-doctoral research associate in Dr. Lisa Feigenson's Child Development Lab at Johns Hopkins University and will take up her position at BU later this year.

Third Annual Julesz Lecture on Brain Research

We are happy to announce the Third Annual Julesz Lecture on Brain Research by Dr. Vilayanur S. Ramachandran. The topic of Dr. Ramachandran's lecture is "What Neurology Can Reveal About the Human Mind: The Moving Mind: Body, Brain, and Creativity" and will take place on Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at 4:30pm in the Livingston Student Center, Livingston Hall in Piscataway, NJ.
