Cognitive Kids is a collaboration of three child development research labs at RuCCS at Rutgers University–New Brunswick led by Drs. Hurst (Psychology), Syrett (Linguistics), and Wang (Psychology). We study how children learn about numbers, language, and the world around them. We believe that science should be shared beyond the lab. Through partnerships with families, educators, and community organizations, we make research accessible and engaging. Whether you’re a parent curious about child development or a professional working with children, we invite you to learn with us, participate in our studies, and help shape the future of learning.
